Estero Morua 8/29/1975 Agosto 29-30 Septiembre 1 GAC + JHC Mom's handwriting: Arrived about nine night of 29th after an uneventful drive. Hot but no bugs or mosquitoes. Put mattresses down in the driveway and slept cool -- a faint breeze - even needing the spread near morning. Riggins tribe arrived next door about 11 and sack out - some of the deck of the "woods" house. Dad's handwriting: Coyotes - high-itched at night. Campers this time at least 4 other houses with people. Visited the estuary- brought back some oysters. So hot we nearly had heat stroke walking back. Cooked oysters and had a steak (slashed a finger rather badly opening oysters) By night there was enough breeze for cool sleeping - slept in the driveway. Morning (Sun) still breezy - yesterday af met the Jabers (Tabers? tc) The young girl of the family who was there with many young people - They needed help starting their stove and refrig. Sunday we finished painting the front side of the room - got very tirred - swam + walked to camp area. Ocean became rough - wind increased. THERE'S ANOTHER PAGE. I THINK I'LL START SCANNING THESE.
