School Days

A friend and I reminisced about German class on facebook. I got the book out and Lord it brought me back that I'd never really lost somehow along the way.
or did I mean to say "....back to something that I'd lost somewhere somehow along the way."

Compliments of one of my lovely classmates. Yes, 2016 was not the epiphany for me as it was for others. I learned who secretly walks among us a long time ago. It's a shame.
I remember Osman, who brought back the book, pointing at the page and I thought he was pointing at the peace sign I drew and then I said, "Hey, I didn't write THAT!"
He said, "Well, that's the point."
I remember as if it were yesterday.
