3. Lark Sparrow    8/27/2011    Elliot and Cooper Roads    LARK SPARROW. GREAT BIRTHDAY BIRD. HE WAS BY THE STAND PIPE IN A SCRAGGLY BUSH. FACIAL PATTERN. WHITE OUTER TAIL FEATHERS.  Only the third seen here!!!

Lark Sparrow 05/04/2002 McQueen and Elliot Roads Well I drove down the old road where there used to be a ditch and the burrowing owl could be seen and here were two at least of these. Didn't see a breast spot so perhaps they were young. Face pattern was very evident however.

Lark Sparrow 05/16/2002 Tonto Natural Bridge Thought it might be a pipit but then saw them better. Round white on the tail.

Lark Sparrow 02/22/2003 Generic Place Anywhere Jeff and I were hoping that these were longspurs. Good thing that there wasn't much traffic on this road. What traffic there was was fast but we could pull over and look at these larkies and the mountain bluebirds.
