"Along Comes Mary" Bill Underhill Song Memory

In 1966, Bill Underhill played this record "Oh Yeah" for me and told me it was by the Shadows of Knight. I thought it was the Shadows of the Night, but no matter. I remember the first words,

"I've got a little woman. She is a doll. She said she loved me. But that ain't all!"

(Those words aren't on the clip you hear here because I just used the Itunes sample file, which is incomplete.)

It's very Stones derivative and also awfully dated but back then everything was new!

FROM WIKIPEDIA
The Shadows of Knight soon released the Gloria album, followed by the Back Door Men LP, in the summer of 1966. Subsequent singles included their version of the Bo Diddley song "Oh Yeah" (which reached No. 39 nationally)

Here's the Album list with the song on it and the release date of 1966.
