Superstitions    01/24/2009    Dits, Steve, and I. 7-mile Morning hike that lasted to 3:30. We went to HOG CANYON to look at the petroglyphs. Miles up the arroyo and climbed 140 feet. No trail. Up over rocks, boulders. There were bulls there but they weren't even curious about us and we walked by them. Black Grotto with a waterfall and pool of water. We cooked lunch. My noodle dish was awful. Afterwards we toasted our adventure over two beers at Dits. Spectacular scenery. No trash. No people. No trail.
