HERE'S MY KINDERGARTEN CLASS LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY 1956-1957 I can't remember the pictures
of Jesus but the aquarium looks familiar and the
blocks! She used to say which of you boys has
eaten his Cheerios today? We'd say, "Me!" and we
would show our great strength by putting all those
wooden blocks away. (SEE WAY BELOW FOR OUR
KINDERGARTEN TALENT SHOW PROGRAM) LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF
JESUS CHRIST. LOOK I WROTE THREE STORIES ABOUT
KINDERGARTEN. THEY ARE CHAPTERS 8, 15, AND 17 HERE. THEY ARE
PRETTY FUNNY. They'll open in a NEW WINDOW.
Remember; 8, 15, and 17!

The girl the
third from the right was named Sonnie (ah sound).
Mom would always ask us who we wanted to invite over
and we'd say Sonnie and once we wanted the bad boy
whose name I have forgotten second to left front. I
think that's him in the , the guy that looks like a
bad boy. Oh, wait the guy in the middle in
front of Steve. I think that's Steve.

The guy next to Sammy
Fees is Robert Farrell I believe. The guy with no
name next to Marsha Sowell I believe was from Panama
and his father gave up a good job as a tugboat
captain to come to Arizona. The other guy next to
Ron Green is Ray Likesy. |
MRS. LAIRD'S SEVENTH GRADE CLASS (BELOW)You see me second from the right, bottom row grinning between two bestest pals.
After 6th grade they never SPOKE to me again.
I kept making the same mistake saying "fly" instead of "mosquito." I made it on stage but caught myself and said, "...a fly ---- I mean a MOSQUITO!" The audience roared with laughter. I was hooked. From then on I knew the stand-up gig was for me!
Oh, my gosh what a religious program. What did my atheist parents think of that? I don't remember a bit of the religious stuff.
1967 I think. I have only a bit
part, but I was the first one seen when the curtain
opened because the play began with a couple of us
"braves" murdering a settler and I got to knife him
when he was down and then someone shot us all or
something. I was TERRIFED when I saw the curtain
open and the packed house. I remember my heart
pounding so loud I could hear it.
