March 9, 1996 Saturday

I have not written anything for March of 1995 at all. Dad isn't feeling so hot; he has aches and pains. The other day the publisher called and said they were finally just about done with the book. I've been writing the other book for them in the meantime. I saw David Dodt Thursday night. I drove up and he saw me as he was setting up. He looked over the wall and recognized me and I rolled down the window and said, "How did you think you got this gig?" He drank some beer before and during the show. Lots of beer. He said he had got word from Guggesburg from Egypt. Guggy loves it there. I haven't drunk a beer for months.
