That's all I know.

AND JEFF HAD IT IN HIGH SCHOOL AND PENNY SAW HER MOM'S NAME IN IT!

      WEST BERLIN -- Eunice Margaret Haskins Carpenter died peacefully in her home on Sept. 15, 2018, surrounded by her family. Eunice was born Eunice Margaret Partlow on March 11, 1927, to Charles and Margaret (Perra) Partlow, in Northfield, Vermont. Eunice graduated from Northfield High School. She went on to work at Duron’s and Northfield Hosiery, to name only a few. She eventually retired from National Life Insurance Co. after approximately 25 years of service. Eunice married Delbert Wallace Haskins in June 1937. She and Delbert eventually settled in West Berlin, Vermont, where they raised their three children. Delbert passed in October of 1987 with Eunice at this side. Eunice then married longtime family friend Bryon Carpenter in September of 2000. Eunice and Bryon made their home in West Berlin where they resided until Bryon’s passing in September of 2017. Eunice leaves behind her children Margaret Williams, Mary Jennett and her husband, David, and Delbert “Buddy” Haskins, all of West Berlin; along with her stepchildren David Carpenter and his wife, Deb, of Burlington, Connecticut, and Karen Burgess, of Avon, Connecticut. She leaves her grandchildren Lee Herring Jr., Allen Herring, Keith Herring, Connie Laplant, Keri Champine, Anthony Williams, Ellen Matheson, Terri Posey, Ralph Madison, Kaitlin Carpenter; along with numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings, Kenneth Partlow, Diana Billings, Frederick Partlow, Clarence Partlow and Joan Drury; as well as a very special friend in Sue Haskins. Eunice was predeceased by both Delbert and Bryon; her grandson, Jay Jennett; and several siblings Edward Partlow, Francis Partlow, Gilbert Partlow, Richard Partlow, Robert Partlow, Beverly Delude, Jean Dukette, Louis Partlow and Arthur Partlow. Eunice was a member of the St. John’s Catholic Church in Northfield, Vermont, and the Northfield Senior Center. A very special thank you to the caregivers who provided exceptional care to Eunice which allowed her family to keep her at home – Patty Dukette, Christine Bell, Ahlexus Dukette and Ahleah Lawliss. A graveside service will be held in the Berlin Four Corners Cemetery located on Scott Hill Road in Berlin, Vermont, on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow at the American Legion Post 63 at 48 Depot Square, Northfield. For those who wish, memorial gifts, in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated to Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice at 600 Granger Road, Barre, VT 05641. Assisting the family is Kingston Funeral Home in Northfield, Vermont.
