11/24/2000 Herb Fibel was there.
Gilbert and Riggs Roads
04/24/1999 Herb Fibel with the
bird group was there and I accompanied them to
Gilbert and Riggs. This is that place a mile or less
north of gilbert and Riggs. These birds were cool
because they exhibited the Warbling Vireo
trademarks: several in a tree and forever hidden
behind any available twig -- no distinguishing
characteristics- featureless until you see a light
eye stripe. Later I am writing: You know, I think
this was the "warbler tree" which is now very much a
part of the past. They're putting houses out there.

10/16/2004 Just ripped in there in
the morning, oh -- 8:30 or so HERB Fibel was there
with a bird watching class -- only about three
people this time.

04/18/2004 Met Herb Fibel there
with his bird group. Saw a record 47. There was a
lady there early and I showed her the solitary
sandpiper and then the other folks came and we hung
around a lot. Camped out last night and it was
breezy and cool and Noodles slept on her down pillow
very nicely.

2/6/1999 Met that Audubon Group
and followed them around. The guy had great seven
power binocs. His name is Herb, isn't it? Yes, Herb
Fibel. I remember he let me look through them.
Great.

02/14/2004 Saw Ruth Wineberg there
and Suzanne Steadman with Herb Fibel
herbertsfibel@aol.com Ruth met Noodles. I went
to pond six and showed them all a snipe that I had
