of weird bald eagle?"It was the darker phase. We saw 33 species.

lister for this place. Steve spotted this bird on the east end of the
area. It was in a tree and Steve tossed a clod in there and it flew out
whirling. A male. Black. White wing patches.

wire on the east side. His funny beak gave him away. Also the red eye
or orange.

surprised to see these. Several females. Green backs but I'm not about
to make the jump to Allen's hummer on that technicality. This is
another Elliot and Cooper lifer so it's two in one day! HEY. WHY ISN'T
THIS A BROAD-TAILED??? Still a lifer.
126. Townsend's Warbler,09/07/2002,Elliot and Cooper Roads,This is an
Elliot and Cooper Life Lister! He was on the north side of the place by
the canal and flew into a tree. White tail feathers. Also an all-time
lifer.

lister. I thought he was a redhead but he had a white breast and a
white collar and and a short weird bill. Prehistoric-looking. Dove a
lot. Female.

it finally. I put the Brewer's in here. There were a zillion very black
and regal blackbirds flying over this morning. I take them to be
Brewer's. So there! A lifer for this place. And it's high time!

the slighted line of black up the center. Eye ring. No black cap. A

800th trip and I see this guy flying by. I say "Well he's got no orange
bill and neotropics are outnumbering the double-cresteds now and so I'm
giving myself a LIFE LISTER on the 800th trip. It's high time I added
the neotropic and I'm hardy cheating at all. At the 700th trip you'll
remember I got the greathorned owl. No space there to twart my bad
scripting.

some loud screeching and saw three of these fly up on the island in
Pond Ten. They didn't stay long but flew West Northwest. I took two
pictures.

FINALLY! He was in Pond 9. Saw his white spots. Just a short look. That
makes 150 on the place life list!

LISTER!!!!!************* At first I thought it was a Lazuli Bunting.
However there were no white wing patches. Then I saw the dark dark
blue.There were five of them at least. One seemed female. They were out
in Pond Nine on yellow stalks of bush or grass.
