I wrote this note to Gayle Johnson Becker when I
bought her cook book:
I will look up the book. Your finely crafted and terse
introduction
made me rethink the one in my guitar book. I will keep it but
inform
the reader to skip the intro and get to the lesson. Later,
they can go
back for my hooptedoodle. Like Steinbeck did. The third
chapter of
Steinbeck's sequel to Cannery Row is called Hooptedoodle. It's
after
the introduction part which I attach here as a graphic for
your
enjoyment. Exactly what I should do.
