Wendy served Seafood Chowder in Tucson on Sunday, so I decided to make my own with clam chowder as the foundation. My mom taught me about clam chowder. It was Snow's Clam Chowder and my dad would always identify the rogue crustaceans that wound up in the soup because he was a copepodologist. Here's my plan for ingredients. (The Sea Monkeys can be added Al Gusto.) The can of crab meat had no price and when I got to the counter it was 25 frogskins! CLOWN CHOWDER UPDATE Here are the two kinds I've just sampled. I want to find Snow's Clown Chowder because I grew up with it. BUT WHICH OF THESE TWO IS THE BETTER? If you don't want me to tell you, I won't no problem. OKAY OKAY! I hear the roars for elucidation. Well, you can see the 210-calorie label on the Progresso. Well that's nice but you're not going to TASTE those missing calories in the watery Progresso. No, you'll NOTICE those missing calories and so my bet'd be with that there Campbell's, which is thick and creamy and rich and yummy! I have never had much luck with Progresso, but I like Dr. Progresso and I am going to send him a letter. If you want I will tell you who he is.
