Cinco de Mayo.
There is a sunflower growing in front of my pigeon coop and it is really cool. It has long, spindly arms with a sunflower on the end of each. It just grew there because I feed the pigeons sunflower seeds. It is not a giant sunflower but it is 4 1/2 feet tall.

Today I saw a grapefruit on my tree. In late December or early January I shall avail myself of its rich bounty!
FIVE MONTHS LATER LOOK TO THE RIGHT. IT MAY NOT BE THE EXACT ONE BUT HECK!

The dried up orange on the right is some 78 years old. I found it in my uncle's WWII Sea Bag.

I FOUND TWO GRAPEFRUIT UNHARVESTED IN THE TREE TODAY. I SHALL PROVIDE PHOTOS THAT PROVE THE TOTAL IS 26 RATHER THAN 24.

It is so perfectly and neatly done that it brings to mind the perplexed and creepy feeling you had as a child when you looked upon your grandmother's ever-so-tidy living room or your granddad's meticulous mustache grooming,

YESTERDAY, MAY 17th, 2021 I saw two grapefruit still in my tree. I took my stick with the nail and knocked one down and the other was recalcitrant but fell to my efforts in a time. I think they are ALL GONE now.

As promised, here are the two grapefruit. The one on the right is the old orange that I found in my uncle's WWII Navy Sea Bag from, oh, 1944 and that was imprisoned there for more decades than you can imagine. The story is included.
