There were two of them. Tracks of them walking side-by-side through the snow.
Later, I got a shot of one of them resting in front of the cabin. Here it is.

On October 24, 2010, my sister, my brother, and I woke up in the desert in the Superstition Mountains and saw the tracks of mountain lionsjust yards from where we hadslept. My brother insists that they were dog prints, but there aren't any dogs there and few dogs have such big feet. I don't like party poopers. As far as I'm concerned, they were lions!
