(If not. Please disregard.) Today, I was looking at my web page and was impressed by how much I have on your mom and dad. It’s here: http://www.tomhascallcole.com/Dave%20and%20Ginny%20Pratt.html I hope you like it. Tom Cole Hi Tom, Gosh, thanks so much for sending me all this.
It is heartening to know that my parents still exist
in the world. My father died in 2001 and my mother in
2015, but I think of them so often. I miss them and of
course have the usual ambivalent feelings so today I
can't get myself to read my father's letters to your
parents, but I treasure them nonetheless. They were
pretty extraordinary people, but not always easy to
live with for Jimmie and me.
And yes, my father spoke so much of "Jerry
Cole;" he was so fond of him. I think they shared
birding.
And my brother Jimmie and I met your family
including you and your sister in the summer of 1959 (I
think), when our family took a 5 week trip out west
and spent a few days with your family in Phoenix. Your
family took us to a swimming place in the desert,
where I got a sun burn. I was in awe of your sister's
ability to sew her own clothes.
Warm regards,
Susan Pratt Walton
