I got up at 9:30 because I was up late reading that Isaac Asimov book that Dad got me. Steve and I cleaned the house and also worked a little on the garage. We then did the front yard and got rid of a lot of those damned leaves from the eucalyptus tree.

July 4, 1990 Wednesday
Today I have the day off.  I have cleaned the house a bit -- vacuumed, washed the rug and stuff.  I also put my pillow in the washing machine as it was most odorous from many a sweaty night in our hot weather.  I cleaned out the pigeon coop some and mowed the lawn.  Then, I picked up the front yard because the damned eucalyptus tree has been shedding its bark on most of the neighborhood.
