Organ Pipe National Monument 11/10/2003 Driving home
from Estero Morua. Noodles and me.
Estero Morua 11/16/1974 I guess this was the year
before we bought the beach house! Thanksgiving but
exact date a guess. remarks: Birdlife very abundant.
Water would foam from their dives. Sky would darken
with the birds. This was the Organ pipe trip where the
big bull kangarooo rat jumped on us while we slept.
Check out that card in organ pipe. Phainopeplas and
loggerhead shrikes were also present there.

Organ Pipe National Monument 11/3/2019 Sally and I
went to the visitor center.
Estero Morua 10/10/2011 Whipped on down bringing no
food. Caught two tiny rock bass. Temperature was
rather hot fishing. Not bad but you needed sunscreen.
Nice nice weather. Quiet too. Met Margaret and son
Theo. They live in the house in front of us from which
the internet emanates. One Enrigue said that the
oyster catchers are disappearing and it was true that
I didn't see one. Internet didn't work well. Steve was
in town when I got there as he thought he had no
propane. There was a huge tank in the garbage can.
Enrique nearly got squashed by Steve's car when the
jack started leaning over. Slept on the couch. Good
sleeping. Cops followed me to the border from the turn
left there after Vaquez's Licores. Two pick-ups. Speed
signs said 20 km/hr. Oh, it was torture keeping that
speed. They finally passed me and they had machine
guns. Had a bacon cheese burger at Lukeville. I
stopped at the AJO MOUNTAINS WAYSIDE in Organ Pipe.
Stopped at the Mesquite Leak Rest Stop and found
obsidian that looks like fire agate to me. I was happy
to find them.
