Canyon
Lake 08/10/2004 Still on vacation and not really
interested in driving clean to Mexico, so I went to
the lake. Noodles swam. It was hot. Went to Tortilla
Flat and had ice cream. Checked out the place. I
like Tortilla Flat. Noodles didn't want to walk much
because it was hot, but she enjoyed sleeping on the
blue ice. Drove back all the way down Main Street
and turned at Mesa Drive, which is McQueen. Nice
views. I didn't see Apacheland Book Exchange. Ah,
but look what I found on the net: Apacheland Books

Canyon Lake 12/5/2014
Decided to drive to Tortilla Flat. I went. There was a
Ford Transit Connect there. Perfect car for me as it
is a very small bread van or camper that can have a
bed and porta potty and can transport equipment and is
easier to park than my giant truck. I walked up to
where I was when I was a kid at Tortilla Flat. There
was a Black Phoebe there. It was kind of hard getting
in. I was on the right side of Apache Trail towards
Fish Creek hill. I couldn't see that crashed car down
the ravine this time when I came up approaching Canyon
Lake.
