Here he is afterwards showing where he floated. He couldn't speak English but he had an American girlfriend when he was stationed in Alabama. She was named Mary Address. Weird name. Inside was a clipping of a HILARIOUS cartoon with a 1949 date as well. 35¢ is a little pricy for 1949 I should have thought. (on a Mac press Option 4 to make a cents sign: ¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢ See?
